Com a realidade do \u2018pico do petr\u00f3leo\u2019, h\u00e1 cada vez mais depend\u00eancia em produ\u00e7\u00f5es offshore como principais fontes para substituir as reservas e abater o decl\u00ednio em produ\u00e7\u00e3o. Notavelmente, a produ\u00e7\u00e3o em \u00e1guas profundas tem previs\u00e3o de crescimento de 99% comparado com crescimento de 20% em \u00e1guas rasas nos pr\u00f3ximos 5 anos.<\/p>\n<p>Ao passo que as atividades de explora\u00e7\u00e3o e produ\u00e7\u00e3o movem-se offshore, as bases de fornecimento costeiros enfrentam desafios significantes para servir operadores de modo econ\u00f4mico e eficaz. Cada vez mais as dist\u00e2ncias envolvidas s\u00e3o traduzidas em tempo de navega\u00e7\u00e3o de embarca\u00e7\u00f5es para opera\u00e7\u00f5es de mais de 48 horas \u2013 com implica\u00e7\u00f5es em custo e riscos consider\u00e1veis quando consertos ou resposta de emerg\u00eancia s\u00e3o necess\u00e1rios.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Portos flutuantes permitem que operadores reduzam custos com aluguel de embarca\u00e7\u00f5es e alcancem maior confian\u00e7a e garantia de fornecimento.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Com tarifas di\u00e1rias de aluguel para PSVs atingindo at\u00e9 $50.000 por dia, reduzir a dist\u00e2ncia entre a plataforma e a base de fornecimento resulta em economias consider\u00e1veis.
